It holds a special place among all the Pyramids of Egypt as it is one of the first Pyramids ever constructed in Egypt in 2700 BC and is credited with starting the age of pyramids constructions. Saqqara Step Pyramid has a unique design as it has six steps and stands at the height of 62 m made entirely of limestone and is surrounded by a 10.5 m high wall consisting of 14 doors.
